Superworms can be a great addition to add to your pet’s diet. They are easy and inexpensive to maintain, where most reptiles, birds, fish and amphibians will naturally consume them. Superworms are sold individually.

Superworms as feed for reptiles, wild and aviary birds, aquarium and pond fish, monkeys, pigs and poultry. These fat juicy superworms have a long tub life and come in high quality feed. They are great value for money.
Superworms are relatively easy to keep. They need basic food and a water source to survive, and when well taken care of, they will remain healthy and active to feed your pet for weeks. Always have on hand a dry food source and a water source like slices of carrot or potato.
Due to the 2-3 day travel time, shipping issues may occur that are out of our control, which may hamper the life span of your worms. We make every effort in packaging the worms, so that they can survive the travel time and we still strive to get your worms to you happy, healthy and alive.
You can feed superworms to a large number of different animals as a staple or as a treat but should always be fed with other insects to ensure a varied diet. They are often mistaken for giant mealworms as a result of their similar features meanwhile, they are completely different. They will naturally grow to their final size where giant mealworms are normal mealworms that are treated with a growth hormone that enables them to grow to the size of a superworm.
Most important to remember, is to find out the nutritional requirements of your pets before feeding, many pets like reptiles require an additional dusting of vitamins and calcium to ensure there is nothing lacking in their diet and that they are healthy.
Superworms are not new to the South African market, yet up until now they have not been available in sufficient quantities to satisfy demand. This has translated to erratic supply & ultimately superworms have been considered more a luxury food item than anything else. Now this is no longer the case. We have a large stock of superworms; always available, direct to your door within 24 to 72 hours, dependant on your location. We have fine-tuned our feeding plan based on the natural biology of the superworm and this is coupled with a solid understanding of the importance of a optimized diet for optimum nutrition.
